My Name is Connor Finlay Edney and first of all I tried to make my entrance on Tuesday 25th March. My mummy waters started to break at 1.30am followed promptly by some nasty tummy aches. After a hasty visit to St Heliers Hospital where she was allowed to stay until midnight, they afterwards sent her back home because I had obviously decided that I wasn't quite ready for the outside world yet.

Mummy was told to come back the next day (26th) and if I was still lazy they would then speed things up on the 27th and "induce" me to say hello. Poor Mummy had labour pains for 14 hours even though her tummy was numbed and she was "away with the fairies" puffing on gas and air.

I was eventually born at 4.30am on the 28th March weighing 8.1oz. Mummy Emma and Daddy Adam brought me home the next day to meet Grannie Lorraine Grandad Danny and Uncle James. Mummy's friend Alana is going to be my Godmother.

I am told I look a bit like Mummy and a lot like Daddy. I have a lot of hair and dark eyes.
